Who is this training for?

  • For individuals who are completely new to Aerial Yoga, and have always been intrigued but hesitant to give it a try.

  • For those who dream & aspire to be an Aerial Yoga Teacher, but feel that guiding others in high hammock poses are intimidating — this training provides a safe and supportive foundation to build confidence and teaching skills.

  • For studio owners who are ready to elevate their studio offerings

  • Although Low Hammock is for everybody, we recommend taking at least 10 Aerial Yoga Low Hammock classes. With some prior background knowledge, we believe you will receive more from this training. 

 

Regardless of experience of Yoga or Aerial Yoga, anyone is welcome to join. Low Hammock is for everybody. However all trainees are required to sign the FWGYS Trainee Agreement before officially participating.

  • Introduction to Aerial Yoga Low Hammock

    • Aerial Rigging & Hardware​

    • Proper Low Hammock Height

  • Fundamental Low Hammock Asanas

  • In addition to 50+ Aerial Yoga Asanas

  • Common Level 2/Level 3 Asanas

  • Lecture Session

  • Practical teaching experience

    • hands on teaching practice to build real-world confidence​

    • practice cueing, spotting, assisting

    • teaching to peers

    • receive live feedback​

  • Yoga Alliance certified Continuing Education hours upon successful graduation

AYTT FAQ

1.   What if I am brand new to Aerial Yoga? 

  • AYTT: Low Hammock is for everybody.

  • To prepare, even though this course is for everyone, we recommend taking at least 10 Aerial Yoga classes Low Hammock. This way you can receive more from the training with some prior background. 


2.   What's unique about a FWGYS 15 Hr AYTT: Low Hammock program? 

  • Exclusively led by Grace — a globally recognized aerial expert known for flying with grace and seamlessly blending traditional Yoga with the beauty of Aerial Arts. Grace shares her passion, exceptional knowledge, and the magic of flying wherever she goes.

  • This program provides a solid foundation and the confidence to even start your own Aerial Yoga studio with low hammocks accessible to all.

  • Learn Grace’s proven techniques and guaranteed methods to help first-timers and beginners safely and successfully execute basic postures, including fundamental inversions, and other Low Hammock fundamental postures


3.   What if I want to join, but do not want to become an Aerial Yoga Instructor?

  • That is totally okay and encouraged as well! The only difference will be that you do not have to take the Evaluation Assessment. 


4.   How do I sign up for this training? 

5.  Are there payment plans available?

  • Yes. With Affirm, you can choose your installment plan. 

6.   Is there any other cost besides tuition fee?

  • No.  The only difference between rates are between the Early Bird and the Regular Tuition prices. So sign up early and save money with Early Bird savings!

  • Your primary investment will be the tuition fee, which includes all in-studio training sessions, a comprehensive manual and materials, plus your certification upon successful completion.

  • Other possible expenses to keep in mind are:

    •  Optional personal equipment, like purchasing your own hammock for home practice

    • Travel, lodging, or meals if you’re joining us from outside the area


7.   What does it mean to receive a Certificate to Teach certified by FWGYS ?

  • At this time, there isn't a recognized governing authority for Aerial Yoga or Aerial Arts comparable to Yoga Alliance for Yoga. Nevertheless, it's important to highlight that obtaining certification to teach Aerial Yoga from FWGYS ensures global recognition, allowing certified individuals to teach at Aerial Yoga studios worldwide.

  • Although you may be certified to teach Aerial Yoga: Low Hammock, it is important to acknowledge that each Aerial Yoga Studio may have distinct requirements for teaching. Certain studios may necessitate an additional 200 RYT certification, while others might mandate additional Aerial Apprentice Hours. These hours serve as a continued training program, enabling instructors to refine their teaching skills, further develop their unique style, and cultivate the distinctive teaching voice that each individual brings to the practice.


8.   Something urgent came up and I can't join. Can I get a refund?

  • There are no refunds and all sales are final. 


9.   Is there a minimum attendance for the training to take place? 

  • Yes. At least 3 students must sign up. If there are less than 3 students, the training will take place at Fly With Grace Yoga Studio. 


10.   Is there any additional work required besides the 10 hour in studio training time

  • Yes. There is 5 hours of non contact work that must be completed. This includes but is not limited to:

    • Self-practice​​

    • Self-reflection

    • Observation of Aerial Yoga classes
