Who is this training for?

  • Certified Aerial Yoga instructors who already hold a Level 1 or equivalent certification.

OR

  • For those that are at least 200 RYT yoga certified with a minimum of 6 months of dedicated Aerial Yoga practice, can invert safely without instruction with the fabric at the sacrum, hip crease, and waist, can hold a bent arm hang for at least 5 seconds, and are comfortable with fabric compression

OR

  • For those with a dedicated, consistent Aerial Yoga practice for at least 2 years, can invert safely without instruction with the fabric at the sacrum, hip crease, and waist, can hold a bent arm hang for at least 5 seconds, and are comfortable with fabric compression

FWGYS AYTT: LEVEL 2 Curriculum

  • Introduction to Aerial Yoga Level 2

  • FWGYS 60 Min Level 2 Sequence​​​

    • In addition the Sequence learn over 50+ Aerial Yoga Asanas

    • Common Level 2 Asanas

  • Fabric Theory 

  • Meditation & Pranayama Basics

  • Practical teaching experience

    • hands on teaching practice to build real-world confidence​

1.  What's unique about a FWGYS 20 Hr AYTT: Level 2 program? 

  • Exclusively lead by Grace, globally recognized in the aerial world, for flying with grace, blending traditional Yoga with the beauty of aerial arts seamlessly, and sharing her passion, exceptional knowledge, & the magic of flying everywhere she goes, anywhere she goes to everybody and every body

  • Learn the FWGYS 60 Min Level 2 Sequence in addiction to over +100 asanas 

  • Learn Grace's techniques and guaranteed methods to help students execute Level 2 postures safely & successfully

2.   What if I want to join, but do not want to become an Aerial Yoga Instructor?

  • That is totally okay and encouraged as well! The only difference is that you do not have to participate in the Evaluation Assessment.

3.   How do I sign up for this training? 

4.   Are there payment plans available?

  • Yes. With Affirm, you can choose your installment plan.

5.   Is there any other cost besides tuition fee?

  • No.  The only difference between rates are between the Early Bird and the Regular Tuition prices. So sign up early and save money with Early Bird savings!

  • Your primary investment will be the tuition fee, which includes all in-studio training sessions, a comprehensive manual and materials, plus your certification upon successful completion.

  • Other possible expenses to keep in mind are:

    •  Optional personal equipment, like purchasing your own hammock for home practice

    • Travel, lodging, or meals if you’re joining us from outside the area

6.   What does it mean to receive a Certificate to Teach certified by FWGYS ?

  • At this time, there isn't a recognized governing authority for Aerial Yoga or Aerial Arts comparable to Yoga Alliance for Yoga. Nevertheless, it's important to highlight that obtaining certification to teach Aerial Yoga from FWGYS ensures global recognition, allowing certified individuals to teach at Aerial Yoga studios worldwide.

  • Although you may be certified to teach Aerial Yoga: Level 2 it is important to acknowledge that each Aerial Yoga Studio may have distinct requirements for teaching. Certain studios may necessitate an additional 200 RYT certification, while others might mandate additional Aerial Apprentice Hours. These hours serve as a continued training program, enabling instructors to refine their teaching skills, further develop their unique style, and cultivate the distinctive teaching voice that each individual brings to the practice.

7.   Can I miss a day? 

  • We do not recommend missing any training hours, but we understand that emergencies can happen.  It is the responsibility of the individual to get the notes & assignment in order to make up the work.​

8.   Is there a minimum attendance for the training to take place? 

  • Yes. At least 3 students must sign up. ​ If there are less than 3 students, the training will take place at Fly With Grace Yoga Studio. 

9.   Is there any additional work required besides the 16 hour in studio training

  • Yes. There is 4 hours of non contact work that must be completed. This includes but is not limited to:

    • 2 pre-training hours

      • watch  videos of the FWGYS Level 2 sequence that are guided by Grace ​

      • send in videos of self-practice from the videos above

    • 2 post-training hours
